TCU trolls USC after stunning Trojans in overtime

The TCU Horned Frogs stunned everyone on Tuesday when they took down the USC Trojans 30-27 in overtime to become the Alamo Bowl champions.
Without their starting quarterback, the Horned Frogs went in as 6.5-point underdogs (BetMGM) and took down the Trojans. Former Vanderbilt quarterback Ken Seals went 29 of 40 for 258 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception as he made a spot start after TCU’s top passer opted for the portal. However, the defense was the hero of this game, as the unit forced 2 turnovers from USC quarterback Jayden Maiava.
After the game, the TCU athletic department’s social media team decided to have some fun with legendary USC quarterback Matt Leinart. Leinart posted on social media during the game and wrote, “Nobody cares….I promise!” with a laughing emoji following it.
Leinart followed this tweet up with one saying this wasn’t about the USC game, but at this point, it was too late.
TCU’s football account responded by trolling Leinart and USC by mocking their saying, “Fight On.” They told Leinart to cry on and added the peace sign, which USC calls the “V for Victory.”
Not only did TCU come out victorious on the football field, but I think it’s safe to say they also won the chirp battle. Two victories for TCU football in one night.
