Team-by-team remaining targets: SEC West

Hereโ€™s a look at the SEC Westโ€™s team-by-team remaining targets:

Alabama: The Tide could add to itsย No. 1 overall recruiting class headingย with five targets remaining heading into National Signing Day. No. 18 wide receiver Daylon Charlot lists Alabama as a favorite, while No. 2 running back Damien Harris has the the team tied with home-state Kentucky as the favorite. The Tide is also targeting No. 1 strong-side defensive end Byron Cowart, No. 2 SDE CeCe Jefferson and No. 6 offensive tackle Isaiah Prince.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks’ top remaining target is No. 1 cornerbackย Iman Marshall. However, the Long Beach Poly native is likely to commit to in-state favorite USC. No. 8 WRย Dominique Reed is a high choice for Arkansas.

Auburn: The Tigers are making a push for the top two prospects from the state of Florida, which is no surprise given the recent hire of defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, who coached the Gators last season. No. 1 OTย Martez Ivey andย Cowart will both choose between Auburn and Florida. No. 10 WRย John Burt lists the Tigers as a favorite heading into National Signing Day. No. 8 outside linebackerย Jeffery Holland has also shown interest in Auburn.

LSU:ย Louisiana nativesย Donte Jacksonย (No. 7 athlete) andย Foster Moreauย (No. 62 tight end) have both shown heavy interest in the Tigers. LSU is also targeting seven uncommitted top targets, including Ivey, Marshall, No. 3 SDE Terry Beckner Jr., No. 4 defensive tackleย Daylon Mack, No. 8 outside linebackerย Jeffery Holland, No. 9 OTย Toby Weathersby, and the aforementioned Charlot.

Mississippi State: The Bulldogs are favorites to land three of their top targets: No. 32 OTย Tommy Champion,ย No. 42 running back Kentavious Thomas, and No. 53 athleteย Cameron Myers. Mississippi State is also in the running for No. 118 cornerbackย Kareem Orr and offensive guard Kiola Mahoni.

Ole Miss: The Rebels are the current favorite to land CeCe Jefferson, who named the team as his personal leader on Dec. 29. Ole Miss is also targeting Martez Ivey, Iman Marshall, No. 25 WRย Ryan Newsomeย and No. 118 WR Keenan Barnes.

Texas A&M: The Aggies will compete with TCU for the aforementionedย Mack, who ranks as the No. 2 player in the state of Texas. A&M is also in the running for No. 4 WR Damarkus Lodge, No. 11 CBย Kris Boyd and No. 5 all-purpose back Kirk Merritt.
