Tennessee baseball added a pair of transfer commitments on Friday, first landing a pledge from former Baylor infielder Travis Sanders before adding former Wright State center fielder Andrew Duncan.

The pair combined to hit 15 home runs with 26 doubles and 161 total hits for their respective teams last season.

Let’s start with Sanders, who led Baylor with a .369 batting average while also adding 82 hits, 15 doubles and 24 stolen bases. The All-Big 12 Second Team member also mashed 9 home runs (3rd on the team) and posted a .972 fielding percentage as the Bears’ shortstop. Before landing at Baylor, Sanders initially signed with Texas Tech out of high school. He was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 2022 draft, where he elected to take the college route.

Tennessee landed Duncan’s commitment just over an hour later. A first-team All-Horizon League member, Duncan totaled 79 hits and launched 6 home runs with 8 triples and 11 doubles while slashing .367/.436/.577. In addition, Duncan worked 21 walks with 19 stolen bases.

Duncan is Tennessee’s first outfielder commitment of the 2027 offseason as Tennessee looks to improve off a 15-15 (38-22 overall) record in SEC play.
