There’s been some recent concerning reports about the status of Tennessee sophomore defensive back Boo Carter.
Reportedly, Carter missed several team activities during the offseason, which created a rift with teammates. This led to questions about whether Carter will remain on the Vols’ roster for the 2025 season.
However despite all the speculation, Carter was seen at the start of week 2 of fall camp for Tennessee.
This was definitely a positive step after all the chatter. Prior to the start of fall camp, Tennessee coach Josh Heupel re-affirmed Carter’s status.
“Boo is a part of our team,” Heupel said last week. “There are some things he’s got to accomplish to get back on the field.”
