Tennessee fans roast Diego Pavia after Netflix doc reveals NSFW pregame comments

Diego Pavia was confident that he could lead Vanderbilt to defeat Tennessee last year. It did not go that way.
Tennessee’s 2024 win over Vanderbilt is featured in episode 7 of the newly released Netflix series SEC Football: Any Given Saturday. The docuseries includes Pavia in the locker room before the game with a NSFW message.

The Volunteers defeated the Commodores 36-23. UT overcame an early 14-0 deficit in the 1st quarter.
For Pavia, it was not one of his memorable outings. Pavia was 8-of-17 passing for 104 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. On the ground, Pavia had 11 rushes for 45 yards with a long of 20.

It’s not the first time this offseason that Pavia drew the ire of Vols fans. In June, the Vandy QB told the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast that, “Vanderbilt is gonna run Tennessee after this year.” Nov. 29 in Knoxville should be extra entertaining.
