It’s not yet known where Fife will end up, but it’s worth noting he recently took visits to both Georgia and Ole Miss. He’s also received offers from numerous other SEC programs since committing to the Vols back in November.
Fife is a big loss for Tennessee’s 2027 high school class. He’s the No. 355 overall player and the No. 40 defensive lineman in the nation for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Tennessee is down to 15 commits in the 2027 cycle, though there’s still time for the Vols to add to their class before the Early Signing Period in December. Currently, Tennessee’s high school class ranks outside of the top 50 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Only 5 of Tennessee’s 15 commits are currently regarded as 4-star prospects.
