It was peak offseason on Monday’s “The Paul Finebaum Show.”

The third hour of the show featured a call-in debate between FOX Sports analyst and NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and famed “Finebaum” caller Phyllis from Mulga.

Their debate included a major upset prediction from Bradshaw.

“I’m a Volunteer fan,” Bradshaw told Phyllis. “And they’ll probably walk all over Alabama. Tennessee is back.”

The Volunteers have lost Derek Barnett, Josh Dobbs, Jalen Hurd, Alvin Kamara and others, leading many to predict a rebuilding year for Butch Jones’ squad. Las Vegas sports book operators CG Technology recently put the over/under for UT’s win total at 7.5. Alabama’s win total was set at 10.5.

The Crimson Tide have won 10 straight over the Vols, including a 49-10 thumping last season in Knoxville. This season, the Third Saturday in October takes place on Oct. 21. The teams will meet in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Bradshaw also took a shot at Nick Saban and his salary.

“I understand Saban, that’s your coach,” he said to Phyllis. “What’s he making, $12 million now? That is the entire athletic budget at Louisiana Tech. The entire budget. That’s shameful! Shameful!”

Saban, who has not lost to Tennessee while at Alabama, makes $11.25 million.
