Texas A&M announces Operation Blackout game for 2026

Texas A&M is continuing a recent tradition with another Operation Blackout game in 2026. The Aggies announced on Thursday that this year’s blackout game will be the Tennessee game.
The Volunteers come to College Station on Nov. 14. Kickoff time has yet to be announced, but it will be no earlier than 2:30 p.m. CT/3:30 p.m. ET.
The mission is set.

Operation Blackout has gone well for Mike Elko‘s squad, going 2-0 in the first two. Texas A&M defeated LSU 38-23 in 2024, the first blackout game, and picked up a 31-9 victory against Mississippi State last season.
Texas A&M and Tennessee don’t have a lot of history. The Aggies and Volunteers have only faced off 3 times since A&M joined the SEC. Texas A&M won the 2016 and 2020 games, but Tennessee won the 2023 meeting 20-13 in Knoxville. Tennessee also won postseason meetings in the Cotton Bowl (2005) and Gator Bowl (1957).
