Texas A&M began the Early Signing Period with a bang on Wednesday, signing 5-star wide receiver Jerome Myles out of Draper, Utah, to immediately bolster its wideout room for 2025.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder is the No. 5 wide receiver in the class of 2025 and the No. 30 prospect overall. He is sure to bring explosive, big-play ability to the Aggies starting next fall.

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is shaping up well as the signing period gets going. As of Tuesday, 247Sports ranked the Aggies’ 8th in the overall and composite rankings. Myles becomes the second 5-star recruit the Aggies have received a commitment from, following offensive lineman Lamont Rogers earlier in the week.

Texas A&M also got a commitment from 4-star athlete/running back Jamarion Morrow, who flipped his commitment from Missouri to the Aggies just like Rogers did.

Signing Myles was also a bit of a steal for Texas A&M. On Sunday, Myles reopened his recruitment and publicly decommitted from USC’s 2025 class. A night earlier, Texas A&M hosted Myles on a visit to Kyle Field for the showdown game against Texas.

Myles has been compared to former Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze and was productive as a junior despite an injury-riddled season.

Myles had been committed to USC since September and was the top-ranked prospect in Lincoln Riley’s 2025 class before he pulled his pledge over the weekend. Texas A&M was the runner-up for Myles’ pledge earlier this year, but the Aggies remained in close contact with him, hosting Myles twice this fall, including that visit over the weekend.
