Texas A&M starter announces he’s entered the NCAA transfer portal

The Texas A&M Aggies had the year from hell in 2020. Multiple COVID pauses and awful weather in Texas caused the Aggies to miss every scheduled game in February.
Overall, the Aggies finished with a record of 8-10 (2-8 in SEC play). They bowed out in the 12-13 matchup against Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament.
Now, some players are reconsidering their futures with the program. On Tuesday, guard Savion Flagg took to Twitter to announce he was entering the NCAA transfer portal:

That’s not a huge surprise, as Flagg has seen his playing time go down under Buzz Williams. In Billy Kennedy’s final season in College Station in 2018-19, Flagg started all 32 games, averaging 13.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
In 2019-20, Williams’ first year in charge, Flagg started 29 of 30 games, averaging 10.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. This past season, he only started 8 of 17 games, averaging 8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but there figure to be plenty of suitors for a guy who can score and hit the glass like Flagg.
