Update: The SEC Network said they would attempt to restart the second half around 3:20 p.m. ET; however, it’s currently in the middle of a thunderstorm in College Station.
Texas A&M and Sam Houston State are currently in a weather delay to kickoff the second half.
The Aggies lead the Bearkats 17-0, thanks to 2 Haynes King touchdown passes.
As a league rule, the game is now delayed a minimum of 30 minutes. KBTX News Chief Meteorologist showed the radar image of the lightning that led to the delay.

The Aggies announced the official delay just before the second half kicked off.
Due to lightning in the area, the game is currently in a weather delay.

The area surrounding Kyle Field in College Station looks sunny and clear; however, the lightning just outside the area caused the official delay.
