Texas A&M was hoping to see 3-star 2018 QB commit Cade Fortin in action a lot this season, but now those plans have changed.
Unfortunately for the Georgia native, he was injured in Friday’s game and will miss the rest of the season.
The injury — a broken fibula — was suffered in the first quarter of the contest:
Unfortunate news for Texas A&M QB commit Cade Fortin. He sustained a broken fibula last night in the first quarter. Out for the year.

According to the 247Sports composite, Fortin is the No. 17 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2018 and the No. 41 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
The Aggies will need to work to bring Fortin back up to speed when they get him on campus next year, but the talented quarterback should make a full recovery.
However, it is certainly a disappointing end to the senior’s high school career.
