We’re less than nine months away from National Signing Day, so there’s no time to slack.
The SEC has work to do, but it’s already gotten commitments from the No. 1 running back (who’s also the No. 1 overall player), the No. 2 dual-threat QB and DT as well as the No. 3 pro-style QB and OT, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Georgia is on a roll with the top commitment from players at four different positions, the most of any team in the conference. Alabama and Auburn are next with three apiece.
With that said, no SEC school has secured a notable all-purpose back, center or kicker.
