Tua Tagovailoa is back.

After suffering a sprained thumb on the first day of practice on Tuesday, the Alabama quarterback was back for practice on Thursday. Yes, Tagovailoa had his thumb protected with a cast. And no, it didn’t look like he was slinging passes around.

But it did look like Tagovailoa was fine at least holding the ball and running bootlegs in practice (via AL.com’s Lauren Sisler):

Because the injury did take place on Tagovailoa’s throwing hand, Alabama is sure to be extra cautious with the sophomore-to-be.

But the injury, which was suffered when his hand hit off an offensive lineman while he made a pass on Tuesday, didn’t prevent Tagovailoa from at least participating in spring camp.
