According to FoxSports’ Bruce Feldman, two SEC teams are among the top-10 โ€œsoftestโ€ non-conference schedules in the country. He used a rating system for the ranking.

Mississippi State has the fifth easiest, according to Feldman. The Bulldogs start off its 2016 season with a game against South Alabama. South Alabama played two Power 5 schools a year ago and lost by a combined 89 points.

The other opponents include UMass and Samford, who arenโ€™t exactly powerhouses. The one notable team on the Bulldogsโ€™ non-conference schedule is BYU, which will take place on a Friday in mid-October. BYU, whether it starts Taysom Hill or Tanner Mangum, should be very good at quarterback.

Feldman also ranked Texas A&M as the ninth softestย non-conference schedule in the country. The Aggies get UCLA right off the bat to begin 2016. The Bruins are certainly talented, also with a proven signal caller in Josh Rosen, but the Aggies, of course, get the Bruins at Kyle Field. This should be an entertaining matchup.

Aside from UCLA, Kevin Sumlinโ€™s teamย will take on Prairie View A&M, New Mexico State and UTSA. Those teams arenโ€™t exactly daunting.

FoxSports’ full top-10 is:

No. 1 Boston College
No. 2 (Tie) Kansas
No. 2 (Tie) Washington

No. 5 (Tie) Indiana
