My picks for Philadelphia vs. Boston
James Harden “higher” 0.5 points. Even though Harden hasn’t been the most consistent scorer during his recent playoff career, this is a no-brainer. Harden will almost certainly score at least 1 point on Sunday, and should have this portion of the contest wrapped up within the first few minutes of the first quarter.
Marcus Smart “higher” 23.5 points+rebounds+assists. Smart hasn’t been afraid of big moments in his career. He seems to thrive on them. When other Celtics players are hesitant, Smart pushes forward. He has surpassed 24 points+rebounds+assists in 2 of his last 3 games. When the lights are the brightest, Smart puts up numbers for his team. Expect that to continue on Sunday afternoon.
Jaylen Brown “lower” 33.5 points+rebounds+assists. Brown is a heck of a player and gets the Celtics off to some strong starts, but he’s struggled in the second halves of games recently. He hasn’t eclipsed the 33.5 points+rebounds+assists mark in his last 3 games. With every possession super important on Sunday, look for points to be at a premium, keeping Brown under this total once again.
How many picks should you make?
The more picks you string together, the higher the “multiplier” or payout. Of course, the more you string together, the less likely you are to win because all of the picks have to hit in order for you to win.
