One of two three-star wide receiver commits in the Mizzou’s 2015 class, Emanuel Hall (Franklin, Tenn.) will be one of the Tigers’ fastest pass-catchers when he arrives on campus, a player with tremendous upside who clocks in at an impressive 4.45 according to 247Sports’ recruiting profile.

Many thought Hall was heading to Louisville before making his verbal to Mizzou assistant Pat Washington in July.

Early playing time is a possibility for Hall considering the Tigers’ top three wideouts from this season — Bud Sasser, Jimmie Hunt and Darius White — have exhausted their eligibility. Throw in Marcus Murphy, a tailback who finished fourth on the team with 26 catches, and the Tigers have serious question marks at the position heading into 2015.

In an interview with the Columbia Daily Tribune in July, Brian Rector, Hall’s head coach at Centennial High near Nashville, said he would play multiple positions this fall.

“He’ll play a little bit of defense (cornerback), just because we want to have our best athletes out there, Rector said. “It’s not necessarily his forte, but he’ll definitely be a guy we can count on on both sides of the ball. You usually see a guy like that at safety, but honestly we’ll probably just put him out there to cancel out the other team’s best threat, is probably what our attitude will be.”

Hall will take his official to Mizzou on Jan. 23.
