As Urban Meyer prepares for his first year at the helm of the Jacksonville Jaguars, he’s still finalizing his staff, apparently.
And, according to a report from FootballScoop.com, the latest addition to the Jaguars’ staff comes from LSU.
Per John Brice of FootballScoop.com, an offensive analyst is leaving Ed Orgeron’s LSU staff to head to Jacksonville:
Sources tell FootballScoop that Kyle Caskey has departed his role as an offensive analyst on Ed Orgeron’s Tigers’ staff for a position on the staff of first-year Jacksonville Jaguars’ coach Urban Meyer.
Caskey joined the Tigers’ staff in late-May, so he hasn’t been in Baton Rouge very long. He spent the previous 11 years of his career in the NFL ranks, so it’s no surprise he wanted to return to the pros.
