After a brief pause due to COVID-19 cases, Vanderbilt football has resumed fall camp activities. Commodores coach Derek Mason shared the news Wednesday morning in a “we’re back” tweet.
Mason shared photos of the team back in the weight room. Vanderbilt spokesperson Alan George confirmed to Adam Sparks of The Tennesseean that the team had returned to the field for a morning practice.
Vanderbilt paused practice on Friday of last week after multiple players tested positive for the coronavirus. In this stage of the offseason, teams are allowed 20 hours of on-field practice per week.
Derek Mason’s Commodores open the 2020 season at Texas A&M on Sept. 26.
