Former LSU LB Deion Jones has been climbing the draft boards recently, and it’s easy to see why with his eye-catching athleticism.
On a media conference call, NFL analyst Mel Kiper had no shortage of positives to list for Jones:
He can run to the ball. Heโs got great sideline to sideline speed, tremendous range. He had an incredible year, led them in tackles. And he went from being a late rounder to a first or second round pick.
After Sunday, “hands” deserve to be added to the list. In this combine video from the NFL, Jones hauls it in like a natural.
