Video: Former Tennessee DB previews Bristol’s Collosus scoreboard

Former Volunteers DB Inky Johnson visited Bristol Motor Speedway Monday morning and shared a video of his view from what will eventually be the field for Tennessee and Virginia Tech’s “Battle at Bristol.”

Johnson first suited up for the Vols in 2004, but his football career ended in the 2006 season when an injury suffered on a tackle against Air Force paralyzed his right arm. He’s now a successful motivational speaker and author, with more than 99,000 followers on Twitter, sharing his story of faith and perseverance.
The long-planned “Battle” is expected to set a college football attendance record with a reported sellout of more than 150,000 tickets. A rendering of the finished Colossus scoreboard can be seen below:

Last month, the venue announced a tailgate party which will be headlined by a Kenny Chesney concert.
