The New York Jets told Jamal Adams that if he was available at No. 6, he should be prepared to come to the Big Apple. They kept their word.
LSU’s official Twitter account of Adams at the NFL Draft in Philadelphia getting the call from the Jets. A voice can be heard telling his father, George Adams, that they’re going to New York. The older Adams played for the New York Giants.

โThey told me that they wouldnโt skip out on me if I was still on the board at six, and they kept their word,” Adams told ESPN. “And I promise you to the Jets fans, Iโm going to keep mine, too. When I say Iโm going to come in there and work my butt off, Iโm going to do everything for this organization. Iโm going to give it my all. Iโm very passionate about this game, and Iโm excited to be a Jet.โ
