Florida assistant Jabbar Juluke received a multi-game suspension from UF and the SEC for his involvement in a pregame altercation before the Gators’ Week 3 game at LSU. In the wake of Tuesday’s announcement, video is making the rounds on Wednesday thanks to social media.
ABC’s countdown to kickoff shows that the altercation occurred more than 75 minutes before kickoff. The video appears to show Juluke make contact with LSU safety Joel Rogers. In a Tuesday statement, Juluke said he apologized to “the young athlete and his family.”

Juluke is in his fourth season at Florida. He was LSU‘s running backs coach in 2016, when the Gators and Tigers also had a pregame scuffle at Tiger Stadium. In between LSU (2016) and Florida (2022-present), Juluke was at Texas Tech for the 2017 season and on Billy Napier‘s Louisiana staff from 2018-21.
The suspension means Juluke will not coach in Florida’s next 3 games against Miami, Texas and Texas A&M. He is set to return when the Gators host Mississippi State on Oct. 18.
