Video: Steve Spurrier opens SEC Network’s Media Days coverage

A familiar face welcomed SEC Network viewers to SEC Media Days on Monday.
The Head Ball Coach – don’t call him the Ol’ Ball Coach – opened a taped intro for the four-day festivities from Hoover, Ala. As a head coach at Florida (1990-2001) and South Carolina (2005-15), Steve Spurrier was always a Media Days highlight, unafraid to step away from the typical coachspeak and speak his mind at his can’t-miss press conferences which often included some zingers for the Gators’ and Gamecocks’ conference rivals.
It will be the second year in a row without Spurrier at Media Days, but it was nice to see the HBC on our TV screens to open Talkin’ Season. Get ready for lots of talkin’ the next four days.
It's Talkin' Season.
And we're talkin' football. All day.
