Vince Marrow interviews for MAC head coaching job, per report

Vince Marrow has been at Kentucky since 2013, where he has been the tight ends coach. Before that, he was the tight ends coach at Toledo in 2008, and then the head coach at Holland High School before taking the Kentucky job.
That experience in Ohio and in the MAC to go along with his experience during his time at Kentucky has made him a candidate for coaching jobs. According to a report from FootballScoop, Marrow has interviewed for the job at Bowling Green.
It is kind of late in the hiring process for coaches, so Bowling Green is definitely looking to get a deal done sooner rather than later. Other candidates such as Mercer coach Mike Jacobs and Minnesota co-defensive coordinator Nick Monroe are 2 other candidates that have been interviewed.
An interesting thing in Marrow being potentially hired is how much is Bowling Green willing to spend. Last season, Marrow made $1.3 million at Kentucky. However, Bowling Green paid then-coach Scot Loeffler $582,000. He left this off-season to become the quarterback coach for the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Nothing is imminent yet, but an announcement on who becomes the coach is expected by early next week at the latest.
