Vols commit lists new top 6 … and none of them are Tennessee

Well, here’s something we don’t see everyday.

Tennessee commit Jordan Davis announced his top six schools on Thursday evening. First of all, he’s supposed to be committed to Tennessee, and second, none of the six schools are actually Tennessee.

The 4-star DL has been committed to UT since November. Davis was a one-time Alabama signee from Memphis, Tennessee. He played at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and then, he recommitted to Alabama after attending JUCO. Later, however, he decommitted from the Tide and committed to Tennessee.

So, here we are.

Davis lists Alabama, Florida, Mississippi State and Texas A&M in his top six, along with Oregon and Nebraska. He’s the No. 2 ranked JUCO player in the nation.
