We’re going to say that Texas A&M defensive tackle commit Isaiah Raikes (Richland, NJ) is rather athletic.
The 6-1, 324-pound lineman lined up at running back recently, and he rumbled for an impressive 45 yards. It wasn’t just an awkward run either. He was displaying athleticism, quickness and speed.
Raikes’ team was backed up near their own goal line, and they handed it off to the big man to give the offense more room to work with. Well, it certainly worked.
Raikes shared the video on his own twitter account, including the caption “Position switch.”

Raikes is rated a 3-star prospect, and he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 33 overall defensive tackle and the state of New Jersey’s No. 9 overall prospect in the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The massive lineman committed to Texas A&M over Penn State and others on June 16.
