The funniest story of the NFL Draft had nothing to do with the actual draft.
Several bachelorette parties invaded Nashville Thursday night, and they had to fight off a massive NFL Draft crowd. More than 100,000 fans turned Lower Broadway into a massive NFL Draft party. One bridal party in particular wasn’t happy with the situation, as shared by Fox 17 Nashville.
“We come here to listen to country music, not hang out with football boys,” bride Cara said.
“I’ll tell you who’s going to pay for this. My husband. No football next season. No Super Bowl. Because my friend only gets married once, draft happens every year,” bridesmaid Cyndi said.
Sorry, but if I’m the bride-to-be, I’m firing my Maid of Honor, assuming she planned the event. We also feel bad for bridesmaid Cyndi’s husband. He sounds like he’s in for a rough football season.
