No. 6 LSU went on the road to beat No. 9 Texas in a shootout 45-38 Saturday night.
Joe Burrow finished with 471 yards passing and four touchdowns, and three different LSU pass catchers posted 100 yards receiving. Burrow was the difference in the game, as he was very accurate down the field and made some huge throws.
Following the game, LSU safety Kenan Jones planted the LSU flag on the field at Texas Memorial Stadium with his teammates cheering him on. This comes after Texas took a shot at LSU for its DBU shirts and the pre-game scuffles.
