WATCH: Nick Saban discusses what makes Tua Tagovailoa so effective

The legend of Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa continues to grow even with the enormous hype that preceded this season.

Following his magical 2nd and 26 pass heard ’round the college football world by beating Georgia in last year’s national championship game, the hype continued to build for Tagovailoa entering 2018. And the only thing he’s done is somehow live up to it and, gasp, surpass it.

Through two games, Tagovailoa has completed more than 71 percent of his passes for 455 yards and six TDs. He’s about as perfect as it gets (on paper) for a QB prospect. He has plus-average mobility, a quick release and his accuracy is off the charts.

Some guys just have it all, and Tagovailoa certainly looks to be one of them. Tim Tebow recently said Tagovailoa could become one of the greatest college QBs of all-time. Everyone else around college football can’t argue with Tebow up to this point.

Monday during his regular press conference, Nick Saban was asked what makes his star sophomore QB so effective. He broke it down very well, via Bama Insider’s video below:
