WATCH: Tennessee LB Quart’e Sapp shares how his mom helped him through injury rehab

Tennessee redshirt sophomore LB Quart’e Sapp hasn’t had the best luck with injuries, suffering season-ending setbacks each of the last two years.

However, he’s back on the field now and has been a productive player for the Volunteers’ defense.

In the video below, shared by @Vol_Football on Twitter, Sapp details the long rehab process he went through and describes how his mom helped him and was his biggest supporter:

Sapp has been coming into his own lately, recording 11 tackles against Alabama on Saturday. For the season, he has 45 tackles, three for a loss.

As he continues to improve, he should play a bigger role in the Vols’ defense. And, as you can see above, he has his mom to thank for helping him get back on the field.
