Anderson had an outstanding rookie season with the Houston Texans. He collected 45 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 7 sacks this season as he helped lead the Texans to the playoffs. He also registered 22 quarterback hits during the 2023 campaign.
Anderson is the first former Alabama player to be selected to the Pro Bowl since Mac Jones in 2021.
The former Tide linebacker was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Texans had to give up a lot of draft capital — including the No. 12 pick in last year’s draft and their 1st round pick in 2024 — in order to move up in the draft to select Anderson. So far, that move appears to be paying off for Houston.
The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will be played on Sunday, Feb. 4.
