Wisconsin football has had a tough 2025 season thus far, but the Badgers picked up a huge victory as they upset No. 23 Washington 13-10 at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday night.

The Badgers trailed 10-3 at the half to the Huskies, but a two-yard touchdown run by Carter Smith tied the game up in the third quarter. Then a Nathanial Vakos 32-yard field goal gave the Badgers the 13-10 lead that proved to be the decisive score in this game.

The weather was built for Wisconsin football, as it was pouring rain. However, that didn’t stop the Badgers’ fans from storming the field to celebrate the big victory.

The Badgers won their first two games of the season, but entered Saturday on a six-game losing streak. Not only were they losing those games, but they were getting blown out during that span. None of the six losses were by less than 14 points, with three of them being by 24 or more points.

Wisconsin will face Indiana next weekend.
