The Blue Jays selected Dallas in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft. He missed the 2025 season due to injury, but has a 4.50 ERA with 38 Ks in 10 appearances (8 starts) this season in Triple-A.
Dallas is the first Volunteer to make his MLB debut in the 2026 season. Outfielder Drew Gilbert (Giants), second baseman Christian Moore (Angels), pitcher Chase Dollander (Rockies) and pitcher Blade Tidwell (Mets) were called up to the show last year.
