Super Bowl 59 is only a few short hours away, and that means it’s time to finalize your bets on the big game!
For SEC football fans, there are plenty of recognizable names on both sides of this Kansas City-Philadelphia showdown. Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith from Alabama is the Eagles’ No. 2 receiver behind former Ole Miss star AJ Brown. They’ll be catching passes from former Alabama and Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts.
On the Chiefs’ offense, Texas standout Xavier Worthy is a rising star. The Chiefs feature Mississippi State standout Chris Jones and former Mizzou LB Nick Bolton on defense.
The Philadelphia defense is loaded with former Georgia Bulldogs, including Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith, Kelee Ringo, Lewis Cine and the injured Nakobe Dean.
As I said before — plenty of SEC flavor in this Super Bowl matchup. How can we make money on those former SEC standouts? I’ll share my favorite all-SEC +575 odds same-game parlay below.

My All-SEC Same-Game Parlay for Super Bowl 59
Here’s a first look at the parlay, which features +575 odds on BetMGM. It involves AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Xavier Worthy. I’ll break down why I like each pick below, but here’s a look at the SGP:

AJ Brown has been up and down all year. He got off to a blazing start this season, but then started complaining about not getting enough touches down the stretch.
He is coming off a 6-catch, 96-yard, 1-touchdown performance against Washington in the NFC Championship Game a couple of weeks ago, and I think he’s primed to find the end zone again. Chris Jones and the Chiefs’ defensive front will make running for touchdowns tough, so I think Hurts will find Brown for 6.
DeVonta Smith absolutely dominates the Chiefs. In 3 games against Kansas City, all against Steve Spagnuolo’s defense, Smith has gone for 122, 100 and 99 receiving yards, posting 6+ catches in each game.
He doesn’t even need to do that well tonight for the over to hit. I think he’ll find a few soft spots in the Kansas City zone and go for 53+ receiving yards.
And finally, when you give Kansas City coach Andy Reid an off week, he uses it to his advantage. I expect him to draw up a couple of creative running plays for former Texas speedster Xavier Worthy. All Worthy needs to do is run for 6 yards for the over to hit. He ran 2 times for 16 yards in the AFC Championship Game against Buffalo and I think he’s good for a repeat performance tonight.
Whatever happens on Sunday evening in New Orleans, former SEC stars are sure to be heavily involved.
