Alvin Kamara to remain with New Orleans Saints for 2026, agent confirms

Alvin Kamara is staying in New Orleans. Kamara’s agent confirmed reports that the former Tennessee standout has agreed to a new deal with the Saints.

Kamara’s agent, Brad Cicala, confirmed reporting by Nick Underhill and Terron Armstead to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Cicala added that both Kamara and the Saints want the running back to spend his entire NFL career with the club.

New Orleans drafted Kamara with No. 67 overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He has played all 9 professional seasons with the Saints.

Career highlights for Kamara include Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2017, a pair of second-team All-Pro selections (2017, ’20) and 5 Pro Bowls (2017-21). Over 9 seasons, he has recorded 7,250 rushing yards, 61 rushing touchdowns, 4,948 receiving yards and 25 receiving scores.

After rushing for a career-high of 950 yards in 2024, Kamara was an 11-game starter last year. He logged 471 rushing yards and 186 receiving yards.
