Former Georgia wide receiver Dillon Bell wasn’t part of the NFL Draft-record 87 selections from the SEC during the 2026 draft in Pittsburgh this weekend.

But after not hearing his name called in the Steel City for the past 3 days, a call has apparently come from the Minnesota Vikings, who were interested enough in the ex-Bulldog to sign Bell to an undrafted free agent deal. NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported early Saturday night, minutes after the draft had ended, that Bell was heading to the NFC North team to potentially carve out a spot on the Vikings’ roster in 2026.

The Houston native who spent 4 seasons in the Georgia program saw his numbers dip in 2025, perhaps the reason why Bell slipped totally out of this draft. After catching 43 passes for 466 yards and 4 touchdowns during the 2024 season, Bell only caught 27 passes for 268 yards and 2 touchdowns last season.

Regardless of that final season in Athens, the Vikings reportedly thought enough of Bell to take a flyer on him.

The rest will be up to Bell, as he tries to launch the next part of his football life in the upper Midwest after starring in high school in his native Texas before spending 4 seasons in the SEC with the Dawgs.

With Bell potentially being a part of the Vikings in 2026, here is what the Kalshi odds are currently saying for Minnesota to contend for the NFC North crown this fall:
