Despite Cincinnati’s struggles on the field this season, Ja’Marr Chase hasn’t led any of that deter him from breaking even more records in 2025.
The fifth-year receiver out of LSU was one of the many reasons the Bengals were able to easily take down the Dolphins on Sunday, and Chase made some major headlines while doing so.
As expected, Chase broke out of an exclusive club with Randy Moss during the game. He and Moss were the only two NFL receivers to have racked up 6,500+ yards and 50+ touchdowns through the first five seasons of their career, but Chase one-upped his predecessor by also eclipsing the 500-catch mark over the same time span.
Chase has recorded over 1,000 receiving yards in every year he’s been in the league, and he’s on pace to continue his mark of 7+ touchdowns each season.
One can only achieve stats like that through great availability, and Chase has rarely missed games for the Bengals despite having dealt with multiple injuries over the years. The former Bayou Bengal has appeared in a whopping 76 games over five seasons.
It remains to be seen which up-and-coming receiver could be the next to challenge Chase’s mark, because for now he will stand alone in history
