KC Concepcion has the first touchdown of his NFL career, nine weeks into his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns.
The former Texas A&M wide receiver, the 24th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has put together a solid season. He entered Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints with 33 catches for 352 yards. That put him third in yardage among Browns receivers and second in catches.
All that was missing from Concepcion’s stat line was a touchdown. That changed at Caesars Superdome on Sunday.
The Browns, trailing 9-6 in a low-scoring affair in the Big Easy, had a first and 10 from their own 36 with 5:21 left in the fourth quarter. Shedeur Sanders, making his first start of the season, stepped back and arched one downfield and right into the hands of Concepcion. The rookie escaped a defender, turned upfield, and raced to the end zone for the score.

The Browns, at 5-3, have been one of the NFL’s surprises in 2026. But Todd Monken’s team is looking to bounce back from a 27-6 Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As for Concepcion, he’ll be looking for plenty more touchdown catches before this season is over as he continues to make himself a key part of the Cleveland offense.
