The 2025 NFL season concludes this evening when the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots face off in Super Bowl LX. If you’re an SEC fan — and you are, because you’re here — you’ll likely hear some familiar names throughout the course of the game. That’s because nearly one-third of the players participating in the contest once played for SEC schools.

According to the SEC, the conference has 31 former players on Super Bowl LX rosters. That figure — which includes players from Oklahoma and Texas prior to their SEC membership — represents 29.2% of the possible 106 active roster spots for the game. If you include players on injured reserve or practice squads, the SEC boasts 44 players between the Patriots and Seahawks.

Only two SEC schools — Kentucky and Texas A&M — don’t have a player on a Super Bowl LX roster. Florida does not have a player on either active roster, but Ja’Markis Weston (2019-24) is on Seattle’s injured reserve.

Alabama has the most players (7) of any SEC school on the Super Bowl LX rosters. Every former Crimson Tide player will be active for the game. LSU and Ole Miss have the second-most players (6) on active rosters/practice squads.

Super Bowl LX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. E.T. on NBC.
