Nick Saban has seen the Florida offense emerge as one of the best in college football this year after the Gators scored 52 in a win over Ole Miss a few weeks ago. Led by superstar running back Jadan Baugh, the Gators are physically imposing their will on opponents.

During an appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ ahead of this week’s matchup against Mizzou, Saban gave a ton of credit to Florida offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner for changing the culture of the offense.

“I have been very impressed with Florida, especially on offense,” Saban said. “These guys are scoring a lot of points. They got a lot of weapons. They got a great runner and really good receiving corps. I think Buster Faulkner is one of those guys that in his culture, is creating toughness. You do that in practice.”

Faulkner was the offensive coordinator at Georgia Tech last season, and the Yellow Jackets were a physical offense as well — boasting one of the country’s best rush attacks.

The Gators currently rank 2nd in the SEC in rushing yards, and having Baugh certainly helps. The early Heisman candidate has rushed for 600 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Those statistics rank second and first in the country, respectively, and he is a huge reason why the Gators are wearing opponents out late in games,

Saturday’s game against Missouri is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
