As former New York Yankees hall of fame catcher Yogi Berra used to say, “It’s like deja vu all over again” for former New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II, who was traded back to his former team Wednesday after signing with the Houston Texans this offseason.

The former Alabama running back and Heisman winner spent the first 8 years of his career with the Saints, rushing for over 6,000 yards in his career before moving on to play with the Baltimore Ravens for two years. He landed with the Houston Texans this year.

Now, he’s on his way back to New Orleans per a report on Wednesday:

The is not exactly the trade that most Texan fans expected. It has been rumored that Houston was going to trade quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins for another former Alabama player, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, but so far, the trigger on that trade has not been pulled yet.

Ingram will be back in New Orleans soon, though.
