Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may be playing his final home regular-season game. The Steelers will face their rivals the Cleveland Browns in their last home game of the season and while the Browns are sending out love and respect to their rival, they also want to beat him too.

Two former SEC players, Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney, want to send the quarterback out on a sour note to end his career in Pittsburgh.

Clowney had some strong words for Roethlisberger and the Steelers via Pro Football Talk.

“Over the years, growing up, I’ve seen a lot of football with Ben Roethlisberger, been a fan of Ben Roethlisberger,” he said. “He ain’t beating us. It’s been a great career, he’s won Super Bowls, which everybody sets out to do, he’s gonna be in the Hall of Fame. . . . I just hope we can send him out the right way, our way. Win and get after him a lot. I’m going out there with that mindset, let’s send him out there the right way, from the Browns’ defense’s side.”

Garrett added:

“I will miss his presence in the game, but as far as going against him and the rivalry against him versus us, no, I will not miss that. I will be looking forward to new things, new challenges, new quarterbacks and new people to put in the front yard.”

“I like the challenge of it going against a guy of his caliber and a guy of his prestige. I will just try to keep it cordial and send him off with a bang.”

Sounds like it’s going to be an interesting game between these two old rivals Monday night.
