Ohio State is now the overwhelming favorite to win the 2024-25 national title after its lopsided win over No. 1 Oregon, 41-21.

The Buckeyes entered Wednesday with the 2nd-best odds to win the title at +340, just behind Texas at +320. Now, the Buckeyes have jumped the Longhorns (who they will face in the CFP semifinal, by the way) and sit at +125 to win the crown. Texas has the 2nd best odds at +320.

Here’s a look at the full odds for all 5 teams remaining. Of course, the semifinal round will be set by tomorrow after the conclusion of No. 2 Georgia vs. No. 7 Notre Dame.

TEAMODDS
Ohio State+500
Texas+550
Georgia+700
Penn State+750
Oregon+850
Alabama+1200
Notre Dame+1200
Clemson+1500
LSU+2000
Michigan+2500
Ole Miss+3000
Miami+3000
Texas A&M+3500
Tennessee+4000
Florida+4500
South Carolina+5000

The question now is this: Can anyone stop the Buckeyes? Ohio State seems to be seeing red after their loss to Michigan to end the regular season, and has now demolished a good Tennessee team and a great Oregon team, winning both by 3 touchdowns.

Texas’s defense started hot against Arizona State, but seemed to succumb to exhaustion as Cam Skattebo started to heat up late. Still, the Longhorns were able to escape and now play for a shot at the national title.

DraftKings listed the Longhorns as +4.5 underdogs for its upcoming battle against the Buckeyes.
