Cameron Barnes, a 6-foot-10 power forward out of Duncanville, Texas, has committed to play in the SEC.

Barnes, who is the No. 36 power forward in the Class of 2023 and the No. 18 player in the state of Texas by the 247Sports Composite, committed to Ole Miss. Barnes committed to Ole Miss over offers from the likes of Baylor, Memphis, Oklahoma State and SMU.

“Hotty Toddy!! Let’s work!,” he shared on social media.

Barnes last season averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds per game on 40% shooting from 3-point range in a state championship season for his high school team.

Barnes will join Chris Beard’s first Ole Miss roster alongside Western Kentucky transfer Jamarion Sharp, who is 7-foot-5. The Rebels also have fellow 3-star big man Jacob Gazzo, as well as other transfers in Georgetown’s Brandon Murray and Arizona State’s Austin Nunez.
