Jamarion Sharp, a 7-foot-5 center from Western Kentucky, has revealed a commitment to play in the SEC.

Sharp shared that he would play at Ole Miss after he averaged 7.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.1 blocks per game last season. He started in 32 of Western Kentucky’s 33 games this season, and the Hilltoppers went 17-16 and 8-12 in Conference USA play before Rick Stansbury resigned after the season.

In the 2021-22 season, Sharp played in 32 games (28 starts). He averaged 8.2 points per game on 72.6% shooting with 7.6 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per game.

Sharp is the 3rd transfer addition for new Ole Miss coach Chris Beard, as the Rebels offer plenty of playing time at that position. Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, Florida State, Nebraska, LSU, UNLV, Memphis, Wake Forest, Gonzaga, NC State and Cincinnati all reportedly reached out to Sharp.
