Jamond Gordon reportedly makes decision on future at Ole Miss
Jamond Gordon has reportedly made a decision on his future after spending time in the transfer portal.
According to Matt Zenitz with On3 Sports, Gordon has made the decision to withdraw from the transfer portal and remain at Ole Miss for 2023. Gordon was initially a JUCO transfer ahead of the 2021 season and hit the transfer portal on Thursday.
During the 2021 season, Gordon produced 13 total tackles while appearing in 9 games. He appeared in 12 games during the 2022 season and finished with 8 tackles, a TFL and a pass breakup.
Along with Gordon staying, Ole Miss has produced a solid run in the transfer portal lately with some key additions. Monty Montgomery, a linebacker out of Louisville, reportedly committed to the Rebels on Friday, along with former North Texas DB DeShawn Gaddie Jr.
We’ll see how those pieces pan out for Ole Miss in 2023, but for now, they are welcome additions to Lane Kiffin’s program.
