Though many Ole Miss fans are more concerned about the NCAA investigation into the Rebels’ football team, there’s also another case of interest happening in Oxford.

Rebel Rags, a store in Oxford that sells Ole Miss apparel, is suing Lindsey Miller — former OT Laremy Tunsil’s stepfather — and a pair of Mississippi State players for saying the store gave them free merchandise (which would be an NCAA violation).

However, Miller filed a motion on Thursday to dismiss the case, saying it’s not valid and should be thrown out:

Obviously, Rebel Rags wants no part of the NCAA allegations, as they don’t want to be seen as having done anything to hurt the Ole Miss program.

However, proving that Miller and the MSU players have negatively affected business will be difficult, so Miller may get his wish for the case to be dismissed.

Still, the important part for Rebel Rags will be getting the NCAA infraction allegations retracted.
