Ole Miss has landed its quarterback for the 2021 recruiting cycle as four-star passer Luke Altmyer has just announced his commitment to Lane Kiffin’s program.

Altmyer recently decommitted from Florida State after visiting Oxford for last weekend’s Egg Bowl game won by Ole Miss 31-24.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Altmyer is rated as a top 200 overall prospect nationally, the No. 12 pro-style passer and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Elite 11 Finals signal-caller currently holds scholarship offers from Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Mississippi State, among others.

His pledge gives Ole Miss a total of 12 commitments for the 2021 recruiting cycle and its first quarterback commit. The Rebels now hold pledges from four recruits that rank as four-star prospects.
