Matt Luke comments on controversial ending in Ole Miss-Cal game
Ole Miss lost 28-20 to Cal on Saturday afternoon, but the game could have gone a lot differently.
With time running out, Ole Miss QB John Rhys Plumlee threw what appeared to be a touchdown pass, but it was ruled short by the officials. The Rebels then had to scramble to the line and run a QB sneak before time expired, but the Cal defense stopped it.
After the game, coach Matt Luke said he thought the play should have at least been reviewed by officials:
"I thought at the very least it should have been buzzed and reviewed and looked at. We couldn’t spike it or call a time out so we ran the sneak," Ole Miss QB Matt Luke on the next to last play.

The crew calling the game was from the Pac-12, so a lot will probably be made of this decision that benefited Cal in the coming days.
